- Is this the official web of the Belgian National Lottery?
Nope, this is the NON-official Belgian Lotto site. The official website of the Belgian National Lottery is here.

- What does 5+ mean in the Dividends section?
5+ are 5 correct numbers and the spare number. The dividends are considerably lower than those of 6 correct numbers. There is no such thing as 6+...

- How come you know the results before they appear on TV?
Well, the TV broadcast is not live. In reality the drawing already took place before you actually see it on TV.

- Why are there two drawings on one day (e.g. on 4/10/1986)?
Because there were really two drawings that day. This is not an error. Click here to see the results of that drawing.

- What does the Belgian National Lottery do with all that profit?
The profit goes to the Nationale Kas voor Rampenschade, developing countries, the Koning Boudewijnstichting and several community projects. Next to that the Belgian National Lottery pays a so called monopoly fee to the Belgian State of nearly 50 million Euro (2 billion Belgian Francs) per year!

- What is Lotto overdracht?
If there are no winners in rank 1 (6 correct numbers) on Saturday, the jackpot goes to next Saturday's game. Same for Wednesdays... That is called Lotto overdracht.

- Can I play on only the Joker?
Sure you can. Just ask for this where you usually buy your lottery ticket.

- What other games does the Belgian National Lottery have?
Besides Lotto/Joker there is also Keno, Cybero, Loxo, Presto, Subito, Magico, Win for Life, Bingo Express, 21 and Astro.

- For which game are the odds the biggest to win?
That would have to be Loxo. There are 2 winning tickets for every 1 million (1.000.000) tickets that win nearly 25.000 Euro (1 million BEF). The odds are 1 in 500.000...

- I subscribed to your LottoMail but I'm not receiving anything?
Did you use your correct e-mail addy? I sometimes get confused people who use a wrong e-mail address or who make typos in their e-mail address. If you subscribe to the LottoMail, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. If you did not receive any confirmation, probably something went wrong. The best thing to do is subscribe again and wait for the confirmation. Then you're all set. Please contact me if you still don't get any confirmation. Then I will subscribe you manually.

- How come the LottoMail is late?
The official Lotto drawing is at 19:00 on Wednesdays and at 18:00 on Saturdays. Consequently the LottoMail will always be sent out later on a Wednesday. Those people who were first to subscribe will receive the LottoMail first.
